A non-profit program of Relevant Engagement Consulting
Brother Rashad Norris is the Founder and Executive Director of Relevant Engagement Consulting, a 501(c)(3) organization in the State of Washington. R.E.C.C. Homes is a program under the 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing resources to young adults who were formerly incarcerated, helping them reenter the workforce, access educational opportunities, and benefit from peer-to-peer mentoring along with other supportive services. Concurrently, Mr. Norris serves as the President of Relevant Engagement, LLC, which contracts with state and federal agencies to provide life coaching and mentoring.
What We Do
Recognizing the challenges we face as a community, R.E.C.C. Homes is dedicated to making a lasting impact. We are designed to empower and encourage young adults to be relevant and conscious of their environments, while influencing them to acknowledge the potential of their future.
"I just want to say thanks to Relevant Engagement, because Life has definitely been rough since I came home last year but instead of giving up or not giving everyday my best, I had some of the best people in my corner like Brother Rashad and Professor Tuncap. They have not only kept me on my feet with knowledge and guidance but all in all these two father figures have been the best guidance for me. Relevant Engagement does need to be everywhere because if we had positive mentors to look up to, a lot of us would never have seen the inside of a jail cell. Brother Rashad has been a tremendous help with my housing situations and continues to assist me in my transitions. Love the work! Keep being great at what y'all do! "Hey brother Rashad man just wanted to tell you man that I hope one day you receive back the blessings you give out constantly without ever expecting or asking for something out of it, because for real I know you breathe hope into people’s hearts and minds man just wanted to take a moment to tell you that. You continue to not let me fell and provide with housing assistance when I am in need. I know that the RECC Home will help a lot of young people being released from the system.
